Of Central/ENB & NIP origins, Gazellah Bruder was born in 1977 in Port Moresby. Gazellah is an expressionist. Her work is her
platform to voice her opinions and participate in discussions and conversations about gender, social issues and her empathy as
a woman for the women around her and their experiences and journey in life.

The visual idea of a wooden bowl filled with banana and taro takes you back to those
simpler times when the Queen (mum) would preparer dinner. My mother made cooking a beautiful task, not tiresome and static. There was singing, stories and love, all infused with coconut milk.
